Job Title: HR Payroll and Pension Scheme Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Payroll and Pension Scheme Manager to join our team at EMBL. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of HR payroll functions, ensuring compliance with EMBL Staff Rules and Regulations, and providing expert advice on pension schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Undertake the full cycle of HR payroll functions, including processing payroll, managing leave and benefits, and ensuring compliance with EMBL Staff Rules and Regulations.
- Pension Scheme Management: Provide expert advice on pension schemes, including interpretation and application of policies, rules, and regulations.
- ERP System Management: Monitor and maintain the ERP system, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll and pension-related data.
- Reporting and Analysis: Produce standard reports and statistics related to payroll and pension schemes, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Communication and Training: Provide training and support to EMBL personnel on payroll and pension-related matters, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
- Education: University degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or other relevant disciplines.
- Experience: At least five years of relevant HR experience, with extensive knowledge of payroll processes and procedures, and in-depth understanding of ERP systems.
- Skills: Fluency in oral and written English, with German language knowledge an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer:
- Competitive Salary: Monthly salary starting from 4.4k€ after tax, plus other paid benefits.
- Contract Duration: 3 years (renewable).
- Grading: 6.
