About the Job

The Fraunhofer-Institut für Integrierte Schaltungen IIS is seeking a highly skilled Trainee Program – Test and Validation Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for participating in a comprehensive introduction to the characterization and test of integrated circuits.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on real projects under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Gain hands-on experience using state-of-the-art testing equipment and methodologies.
  • Develop test setups (PCB, test code, etc.) and prepare and ensure the reliability and quality of the IC production test.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment and gain exposure to various aspects of semiconductor design.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or related fields such as physics, mathematics, or medical engineering.
  • Team spirit, communication skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Experience in programming, e.g., in Python or C.
  • Skills in handling measuring equipment.
