Vehicle Validator

About the Role

Siemens Mobility GmbH is seeking a skilled Vehicle Validator to join our team. As a Vehicle Validator, you will be responsible for performing various inspections and type tests on our Locomotives & Passenger Coaches.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and type tests on Locomotives & Passenger Coaches according to EN17025 standards.
• Develop own test procedures based on TSI, international standards, and customer requirements.
• Work directly with the product and coordinate with specialized departments, project managers, and homologation team to ensure compliance with Siemens quality standards.
• Travel worldwide as part of vehicle testing, with a significant portion of time spent in India.

Requirements

• Technical degree or professional education with several years of experience.
• Experience in vehicle validation, preferably in the rail vehicle industry.
• Good knowledge of measurement and control technology, bus systems, and IT skills.
• Familiarity with international and national standards, laws, and regulations.
• Willingness to work abroad and fluency in German and English in everyday business.
