Lead Consultant for AI in Manufacturing

As a part of the AI startup incubator Merantix Studio, we have successfully launched ventures in medical imaging and autonomous driving, while continuously exploring advanced deep-learning products and tailored solutions across various sectors.
In the role of Manufacturing/Industrial Lead at Merantix Momentum, you will be instrumental in promoting and selling artificial intelligence (AI) solutions tailored for manufacturing enterprises. Your expertise in AI research, development, and implementation will be pivotal in delivering state-of-the-art solutions that streamline manufacturing operations, improve efficiency, and foster business growth for our clients.
Your Responsibilities- Market Research and Client Acquisition: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential manufacturing clients who could benefit from our AI solutions. Generate leads through outreach efforts, including cold calls, and establish initial contact with decision-makers to present our offerings;
- Consultative Engagement: Interact with prospective clients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their manufacturing challenges and strategic goals. Provide expert guidance on how our AI technologies can effectively address these issues and facilitate their objectives;
- Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, gaining insight into their long-term goals and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor by showcasing your industry knowledge and understanding of AI technologies;
- Collaborative Development: Work closely with the technical team at Merantix Momentum, including AI researchers and engineers, to create customized AI solutions that cater to the specific needs of manufacturing clients;
- Proposal Creation: Develop compelling sales proposals and quotations that align with client requirements and emphasize the advantages of our AI solutions;
- Client Support: Provide ongoing assistance to clients, ensuring the successful implementation and integration of our AI solutions. Act as a liaison between clients and the technical team to resolve implementation challenges, gather feedback, and identify potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, such as engineering, computer science, or business. Advanced degrees or certifications in AI or manufacturing are advantageous;
- Demonstrated experience in sales, particularly within the manufacturing sector, with a solid understanding of AI technologies and their applications in areas like machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and process automation;
- Comprehensive knowledge of the manufacturing landscape, including production methodologies, quality assurance standards, supply chain dynamics, and operational hurdles faced by manufacturers;
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English and German, enabling you to effectively convey the value of our AI solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders;
- Proven ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and manage multiple client projects concurrently.
