Business Development Intern

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Eurex Trading Business Strategy team as an intern. As a key member of our team, you will assist in the analysis and monitoring of macroeconomic, market sector, and technology trends in the framework of Eurex strategic positioning.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist in the ongoing review and coordination of Eurex listed derivatives strategy across initiatives, asset classes, and services in close coordination with relevant business owners.
- Help identify and prioritize organic and inorganic growth opportunities that might translate into profitable products/services for Eurex exchange-listed derivatives portfolio.
- Support the development of strategies to expand and diversify into ESG and Crypto derivatives space.
- Contribute to the revenue and product/initiative roadmap budget planning and prioritization.
Your Profile
- You are enrolled at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 3 semesters (study focus on informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies, or other relevant fields) or you already hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree that is not older than 6 months.
- Ideal candidates have already gained practical experience in the context of internships in financial markets and have a basic understanding of the crypto industry.
- You are interested in derivatives market trading and possess good problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills.
- You have very good knowledge of MS Office and the basics of SQL and Python.
- You are fluent in written and spoken English.
