Vorwerk Services GmbH is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our growing team. As part of the IT department, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions that drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

With a rich history and a commitment to excellence, Vorwerk operates in over 60 countries, employing a diverse workforce of dedicated individuals.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement business intelligence solutions using SQL Server, Databricks, and Qlik tools.
  • Architect and build new data warehouses and data marts by integrating data from various sources, including SAP, Oracle databases, MySQL, and NoSQL databases.
  • Provide ongoing support for the smooth operation of the Vorwerk Enterprise Data Warehouse.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand reporting requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Empower business users through training on data dependencies and self-service data analysis techniques.
  • Conduct data profiling to identify anomalies and ensure data quality.
  • Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic business decisions.
  • Participate in interdepartmental project teams to ensure data standards align with the overall data strategy.
Your Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of an apprenticeship or a comparable education in a relevant field.
  • Hands-on experience developing ETL processes and reports using business intelligence tools such as SQL Server (T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS), Qlik tools, and Databricks is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with relational database design and querying principles, data warehousing concepts, and ETL tools.
  • Strong data modeling skills, including data quality management, source system analysis, business rule validation, mapping design, and performance tuning.
  • Proven ability to perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse/BI security, performance tuning, and optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) is a plus.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving industry trends.
  • Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
  • Business fluency in English; additional language proficiency is an asset.
