About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced researcher to join our team at Momentive, a leading global advanced materials company. As a Senior Polymer Researcher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new methods for determining the viscosity of Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) for spray simulation applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize laboratory measurement methods for determining the viscosity of LSR
- Conduct spray simulation experiments using Sigmasoft software and analyze results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new materials and processes
- Design and execute experiments to validate the accuracy of simulation results
Requirements:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field
- Strong background in polymer processing and characterization
- Experience with spray simulation software and techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English and/or German
