About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Execution Lead to join our team at TenneT. As a key member of our Large Projects Offshore department, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of our HVDC Offshore Grid Connection System BalWin5 project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the construction phase of the Land Station in Bremen/Werderland, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Coordinate the allocated Offshore Wind Farm connection, aligning with contractors and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Prepare the overall system commissioning and handover to operating units, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Manage a team of (Sub) Project Leads, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, requirements, and goals set for HSE, time, risk, quality, and TenneT's corporate manuals and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in engineering and strong technical skills.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in managing big infrastructure projects, with offshore experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, and intrinsically motivated individual with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Fluent in English and German, with the ability to travel as per project needs.
  • IPMA D certification or willingness to obtain.
