Category Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a Category Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the Category/Business manager in all aspects of vendor operational management to ensure best-in-class data integrity, system tools, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Support end-to-end product and vendor lifecycle management, ensuring system accuracy and product adoption and creation
- Collaborate with the profit team to develop and implement vendor pricing strategies
- Manage the shipment and debit process in conjunction with the central team in Barcelona
- Work with the purchasing team to optimize provision management and stock allocation
- Develop and maintain sales and stock reports, and determine appropriate execution plans based on findings
- Achieve quarterly Gross Profit (GP) targets
- Build and maintain operational relationships with vendor peers to discuss future products, forecasting, and planning processes
- Contribute to the development and execution of the business plan in conjunction with the vendor business lead(s)
- Provide support to the sales floor with pricing, shipment, and debit, and general product queries
- Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills in English and German required
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of product and technology portfolio
- IT industry knowledge, including Channel, Vendors, Programs, and Competition
- Experience with SAP R3 and Business Warehouse, as well as Microsoft Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Commercial/product experience in a Technology business is preferred
- Degree in a business-related subject is desirable
