Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at TD SYNNEX. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Category/Business manager in all aspects of vendor operational management to ensure best-in-class data integrity, system tools, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end product and vendor lifecycle management, ensuring system accuracy and product adoption and creation
  • Collaborate with the profit team to develop and implement vendor pricing strategies
  • Manage the shipment and debit process in conjunction with the central team in Barcelona
  • Work with the purchasing team to optimize provision management and stock allocation
  • Produce sales and stock reports using Business Intelligence tools and determine appropriate execution plans
  • Achieve quarterly Gross Profit (GP) targets
  • Develop and maintain operational relationships with vendor peers to discuss future products, forecasting, and planning processes
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the business plan in conjunction with the vendor business lead(s)
  • Support the sales floor with pricing, shipment, and debit queries
Requirements
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of product and technology portfolios
  • IT industry knowledge, including Channel, Vendors, Programs, and Competition
  • Experience with SAP R3 and Business Warehouse, as well as Microsoft Applications
  • Commercial/product experience in a Technology business
  • Degree in a business-related subject
