Job Summary

Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Digitalization Expert Tax to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic development and implementation of new tools and IT solutions in the tax & customs function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the development and implementation of new tax & customs IT solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage in process improvement projects within the Tax & Customs function, identifying opportunities for digitalization, standardization, and automation.
  • Manage internal and external communication with stakeholders in the field of digitization, strengthening partnerships with IT, operational business functions, and other support functions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in tax and customs digitalization and automation, monitoring industry trends, new fiscal requirements, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and conduct internal trainings on tax and customs digitalization and automation.

Requirements

  • University Degree in business process management, digital transformation, or data science with a focus on (international) taxation or accounting.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience gained in an in-house tax or digital transformation function or an international consulting firm.
  • Good knowledge of tax & customs processes and business process modeling.
  • Interest in understanding evolving tax & customs requirements and ability to assess their implications within an increasingly digitized organization.
  • Experience in project management of IT projects.
  • Analytical mind-set and an independent and conscientious way of working.
  • Affinity to developments in digitalization and automation.
  • Ability to monitor and adapt to evolving organizational requirements.
  • Proficient user of ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft solutions including MS Office and the MS Power Platform.
  • Excellent language skills in English and German; Spanish is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to discuss complex IT and tax issues with non-experts.
