Job Title: Digital Solutions Team Leader

Digital Solutions Team Leaders are key to delivering tailored offerings that exceed customer expectations and drive mutual success in the ever-evolving landscape of our industry.

As a Digital Solutions Team Leader, you will lead a Unit working for all Services customers for the EMEA Region, with a particular focus on the Digital scope.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a set of highly skilled and functional team members locally in Bad Homburg.
  • Ensure contribution from BHO to EMEA customers meets customer expectations, discussing project and resource needs with the EMEA Train Leaders and Senior Management.
  • Lead projects and maintenance activities for the different digital touchpoints of Amadeus EMEA customers.
  • Identify and run continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of technology deliverables, improve efficiency and productivity of the team.
  • Develop people, recruiting activities locally and for the remote site, and reporting to line management in BHO.
Requirements
  • Bachelors or master's in computer science or Engineering (Software Development).
  • Minimum 5 Years of relevant IT experience (in airline and/or travel domain related).
  • Excellent knowledge and practice in agile methodologies (Scrum (required), SAFe (preferred)).
  • Excellent communication skills and previous experience in customer-facing activities.
  • Good knowledge on Airline Solutions Digital vision and existing solutions (Products, DxAPI, DES, Competency Centers).
  • Good knowledge on Web and client-side technologies (Angular, React, REST/Json APIs usage, ...).
  • Familiar to complete product development lifecycle including production support.
  • Prior experience in managing a team and/or remote site is a plus.
  • Prior experience in prioritizing roadmap items for delivery.
  • Familiar on working in cross-functional teams (product management, development, QA, customers), understand team dynamics and priorities of each functional stakeholder and work with them to meet the deadlines.
  • Must assertive, able to resolve conflicts and gain consensus in a cross-functional team.
  • Technical and domain knowledge, should appreciate business priorities so as to understand and appreciate dependencies in a distributed product development environment and resolve the dependencies.
