Job Title

Digital Solutions Team Leader

Amadeus is seeking a highly skilled Digital Solutions Team Leader to join our Airlines Services Engineering team in Bad Homburg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a unit of highly skilled engineers working on digital solutions for our EMEA customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in the development and maintenance of digital solutions for our EMEA customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of digital solutions.
  • Develop and implement agile methodologies to drive efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure operational excellence and technical architecture aligns with company principles and customer requirements.
  • Manage HR activities and procedures related to the team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Software Development).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience in the airline and/or travel domain.
  • Excellent knowledge and practice in agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Excellent communication skills and previous experience in customer-facing activities.
  • Good knowledge of Airline Solutions Digital vision and existing solutions (Products, DxAPI, DES, Competency Centers).
  • Good knowledge of Web and client-side technologies (Angular, React, REST/JSON APIs usage).
  • Familiarity with complete product development lifecycle, including production support.
  • Prior experience in managing a team and/or remote site is a plus.
