ROLE SUMMARY

BIRKENSTOCK GROUP B.V. & CO. KG is a global brand that values diversity and inclusivity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for international subsidiaries, ensuring a smooth monthly close and consolidated financial statements.
  • Handle intercompany reconciliations and post necessary entries.
  • Manage provisions, accrual accounts, and import data from external accounting systems.
  • Provide expertise on IFRS and answer questions from auditors, resolve accounting issues, and work closely with other departments and subsidiaries.
  • Oversee the general ledger in national and international projects, such as the rollout of SAP S/4HANA.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A degree in Business Administration or further qualifications as a certified accountant.
  • Several years of experience in finance and accounting, particularly with IFRS.
  • Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP (nice-to-have), with a focus on the FI-AA module.
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written – German (at least B1 needed) & Spanish is a plus.
  • A team player who enjoys building relationships and working in a reliable, goal-oriented way.
