BIRKENSTOCK GROUP B.V. & CO. KG is a leading global brand with a strong presence in the footwear industry. As a key player in the market, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team.

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our international subsidiaries. This will involve ensuring the smooth operation of the monthly close process and preparing consolidated financial statements. You will also be responsible for managing provisions, accrual accounts, and importing data from external accounting systems.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing financial statements for international subsidiaries
  • Managing provisions and accrual accounts
  • Importing data from external accounting systems
  • Collaborating with other departments and subsidiaries to resolve accounting issues

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A degree in Business Administration or a related field
  • Several years of experience in finance and accounting, particularly with IFRS
  • Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP (FI-AA module)
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written – German (at least B1 needed) & Spanish is a big plus
