Director of IT Corporate Functions and Financials

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of IT Corporate Functions and Financials to join our team at the Freudenberg Group. As a leading supplier in the automotive industry, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that enhance the driving experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving change in IT and enabling transformation within the business. This will involve acting as an internal thought leader and problem solver, leveraging their expertise in Digital Core Applications, Business and Corporate Processes for Automotive Suppliers, Integration Services, Business Analytics Systems, and IT Service Management (ITIL).

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of IT strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to the business on IT-related matters.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business transformation and improve operational efficiency.
  • Developing and managing IT budgets and resources to ensure effective use of company funds.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A university degree in IT or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT, with a strong background in business models and strategies in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, HR, and Digital Business Processes.
  • Proven expertise in Project Management and IT Application Portfolio Management (LeanIX), as well as IT Demand Management Systems (ServiceNow).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Intercultural openness, sensitivity, and respect, with strong communication skills in English (additional major language is welcome).
