Penguin Formula is a dynamic company that provides comprehensive insights in sustainability goals or a variety of company specific issues, like the organizational health and performance. Unique is the ability to identify contextual issues in organizations (as defined by the World Health Organization). The tool provides organizations with a complete picture and actionable insights. At the moment we work for governmental bodies and in the healthcare industry. Our ambition is to grow in our current markets and to expand to agriculture and impact investment.

Your Challenge:

As Managing Director of Penguin Formula you are at the helm of an innovative company with enormous growth potential. Your focus is on leading the organization from the startup phase to a scale-up, with an emphasis on stimulating sales growth and further product development.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an ambitious growth strategy to position Penguin Formula worldwide as the smart audit solution.
  • Lead efforts to enter new markets, acquire customers and deepen existing relationships. Lead our sales and marketing staff.
  • Drive innovation and work closely with the development team to continuously improve and adapt Penguin Formula to global needs.
  • Take Penguin Formula to the next level by expanding globally and collaborating with diverse markets and industries.
  • Ensure a healthy financial basis through effective budget management and achieving goals.

Your Profile:

  • Demonstrable experience in successfully leading early stage companies to scale-ups.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and developing profitable products.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the willingness to take risks and embrace innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus) and leadership capabilities.
  • Affinity with sustainability and inner development.
  • Basic level of technical knowledge and ability to demonstrate system thinking.
  • Team player and a structured approach towards the business and customer demands.
  • Fun to work with, an open mind set and the skills to open doors.
  • Legal knowledge is a plus.
