Product Management Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, or remotely. 1KOMMA5° is building Germany's largest one-stop-shop for sale, installation, and services related to solar, heat pumps, electricity, and charging infrastructure. Our mission is to enable our customers to live on wind and sunlight forever for free.

Your Responsibilities

As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our visionary and dynamic team committed to revolutionizing the global energy sector. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Feature Prioritization and Roadmapping
  • User Research and Feedback Analysis
  • Market Launch and Go-to-Market Strategy
  • Competitor Analysis and Market Trends Monitoring
  • Cross-Functional Communication
  • Performance Analytics
  • Regulatory Compliance Oversight
Your Profile

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product management role and at least 3 years of hands-on experience working with energy management systems, smart home technologies, or related fields. You should have a solid understanding of product lifecycle management, including product planning, development, launch, and post-launch optimization within the HEMS or energy industry.

Strategic Vision: Ability to formulate and communicate a strategic vision for the product, aligning it with the broader goals of the company and the evolving landscape of the energy sector.

Market Insight/Analysis: In-depth knowledge of the HEMS and energy market, including regulatory trends, emerging technologies, and customer needs. Strong analytical skills and experience in conducting thorough market analyses, identifying potential business opportunities, and making informed decisions regarding product development and market entry strategies in the HEMS and energy sector.

Market Positioning: The ability to develop and execute comprehensive market positioning strategies for energy solutions, considering the unique value propositions and competitive advantages within the dynamic energy sector.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in product development environments. A history of successful collaboration with engineering, marketing, and customer support teams is essential.

Financial Acumen: Solid financial understanding to develop business cases, assess investment opportunities, and ensure that business decisions align with profitability goals in the context of the energy sector.

Communication: Effective communication skills in German and English.

Background: A background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
