Job Title: Director of DNA Manufacturing Job Summary: As a key member of the Discover International team, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of DNA Manufacturing to lead our DNA production department. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge DNA production processes, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and making critical budgetary and staffing decisions. Key Responsibilities: * Drive, inspire, and nurture the DNA manufacturing team to achieve high performance * Form and oversee a cutting-edge DNA production department, ensuring compliance with GMP standards * Manage shift operations in the production area, guaranteeing timely batch output, and consistently enhancing process efficiency, costs, and lead times * Work hand-in-hand with development teams to establish a scalable, advanced routine process * Ensure the qualification of facilities, equipment, and staff to maintain superior operational standards * Develop and implement strategic plans while fostering strong business relationships with external partners Requirements: * Hold a university degree in natural sciences or engineering * Bring a minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector * Possess deep expertise in DNA production, Plasmid manufacturing * Demonstrated experience in team building and leadership * Exhibit strong project management capabilities and strategic initiative skills * Highly motivated, adaptable, innovative, and well-organized, with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities * Proficient in both German and English What We Offer: * A dynamic and innovative work environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development * Competitive salary and benefits package How to Apply: If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your CV and a brief introduction outlining your qualifications and experience.
