Director of DNA Manufacturing

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of DNA Manufacturing to join our team at Discover International. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our DNA manufacturing department and driving the development of innovative therapies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the DNA manufacturing team to achieve high performance and compliance with GMP standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to establish scalable and advanced routine processes.
- Ensure the qualification of facilities, equipment, and staff to maintain superior operational standards.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with external partners, including CMO/CDMOs.
Requirements:
- Hold a university degree in natural sciences or engineering.
- Bring a minimum of 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
- Possess deep expertise in DNA production and plasmid manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience in team building and leadership.
- Exhibit strong project management capabilities and strategic initiative skills.
- Highly motivated, adaptable, innovative, and well-organized, with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in both German and English.
