Job Summary:

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Offshore Wind Turbine Technician to join our team in the German North Sea. As a key member of our Service Offshore organization, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems on our offshore wind turbines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical systems on offshore wind turbines
  • Carrying out regular check-ups, repairs, and replacement activities on turbine components
  • Participation in recurring work-related training to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices
  • Working time and material registration
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Completed training as an electrician, electrician, or mechatronics engineer (EFK)
  • 5+ years of professional experience with electrical or mechanical systems
  • Preferably experience in the wind and/or offshore industry
  • Profound knowledge of medium or high voltage systems
  • Good English and German skills, both spoken and written
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Highly safety-minded and comfortable working offshore and at heights
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity towards constantly improving the quality of our services and work methods
