Senior Manager, Offshore Site Management

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Offshore Site Management to join our team at Vestas. As a key member of our Offshore Execution Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire construction process for offshore wind farms, from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain department strategy to meet commitment
- Promote a strong safety and quality culture
- Lead and manage four teams of Lead Site Managers overseeing pre-installation, installation, and commissioning
- Ensure implementation and follow-through of new concepts and improvements
- Foster synergies across installation projects, including management synergies
- Support project managers during the preparation, planning, and execution phases
- Manage the department budget, including time tracking, travel, and training expenses
Requirements
- Master's degree in a science or engineering field
- Project and people management experience, particularly in offshore construction
- Skilled in contractual negotiations, customer discussions, claims management, and related commercial aspects
- Solid process knowledge in both execution and commercial activities
- Experience in the wind or marine industry is beneficial
- Good financial understanding and familiarity with maritime, customs, and EU legislation
- Fluent in English
