IT Application Manager Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Application Manager to join our team at H-TEC Systems GmbH. As a key member of our engineering functions, you will be responsible for implementing and managing software applications to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage software applications to support engineering functions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for optimized software application configuration and setup
  • Perform application configuration and regression testing to ensure high-quality and reliable applications
  • Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, troubleshooting issues and offering timely resolutions
  • Collaborate with software application vendors and external service providers to ensure best possible user experience
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for application within our organization
  • Support in RfPs and evaluation processes for new applications
  • Conduct system analysis and recommend improvements to enhance the performance and functionality of existing software applications
  • Lead IT projects aimed at fulfilling our internal customers' needs
Requirements:
  • Graduated in business informatics or comparable studies
  • Strong experience in engineering application management
  • Familiarity with software application management methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong analytical abilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
  • Sociability and ability to work in a team, confident and friendly demeanor, flexibility, and strong commitment and willingness to perform
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English
