Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at GfK. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our global users.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st and 2nd level end-user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to ensure minimal downtime in line with company SLA's via the IT Support ticketing system.
Provide out of hours support as and when required to perform system maintenance and upgrades.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in desktop support or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory, Azure AD, Office365, SharePoint/OneDrive.
Experience with VDI infrastructure is beneficial.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective customer support.
