If this resonates with you, this position could be an excellent fit. We are seeking a Carbon Capture Expert (m/f/d) to contribute to our Energy from Waste Department and assist in advancing towards a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities
As part of our Carbon Capture Centre of Competence, you will engage in stimulating projects aimed at promoting carbon-neutral energy and products. Your role will involve addressing complex technical challenges across various sectors, including energy-from-waste, cement, and chemicals, while collaborating closely with clients and fellow experts globally.
Your primary duties will include:
Addressing unique, intricate technical or business challenges for clients in the Carbon Capture domain. Serving as a senior consultant (m/f/d) and reinforcing the centre's reputation as a thought leader both internally and externally. Overseeing engineering management tasks, including planning, organizing, and coordinating resources/processes to meet project goals within defined scope, timeline, quality, and budget. Participating in business development initiatives as necessary.Team Dynamics

You will tackle complex technical challenges across various industries while working closely with clients and other carbon capture specialists in our global network. Your colleagues are situated in multiple countries, contributing to the advancement of sustainable development in challenging sectors.
Candidate Profile
From your first day, we will support your personal and professional growth within the company. For this role, we seek candidates with the following qualifications, skills, and attributes:
A PhD or MSc degree in a relevant scientific, technical, or engineering discipline. At least 5 years of professional experience post-degree. Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in carbon capture processes. Proficiency in energy and chemical modeling tools, such as Aspen, Promax, or Thermoflex. Relevant experience with a Carbon Capture technology provider or engineering firm. Experience in engineering management in a similar capacity. Project management experience is advantageous. Ability to navigate ambiguity, opportunities, and risks effectively. Customer-focused with a self-sufficient, reliable, and organized work approach. Intercultural competence and international exposure. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with various management levels and stakeholders.What We Offer
