About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Human Resources to lead our HR team in Europe, focusing on the Automotive Aftermarket and Operations. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • HR Leadership: Provide strategic guidance and support to HR managers and business partners across Europe, ensuring effective employee lifecycle management.
  • Interface and Collaboration: Establish strong relationships with management functions, HR areas, and other stakeholders to drive business outcomes and HR initiatives.
  • Strategy Development: Contribute to the design and execution of the HR function's strategy, aligned with the global HR strategy and business objectives.
  • People and Culture: Partner with business leaders to drive people-related topics, including talent management, diversity, and inclusion.
  • KPIs and Performance: Define and track key performance indicators, ensuring the achievement of HR goals and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver best-in-class HR solutions, driving business success and employee engagement.

Requirements
  • Education: A degree in economics, organizational management, psychology, social sciences, or law, with a strong focus on human resources.
  • Experience: Several years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Skills:
    • Leadership: Proven leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing plant.
    • Partnership: Experience in partnering with decision-makers in the business or manufacturing at a regional level.
    • Business Acumen: Excellent understanding of business and HR principles, with the ability to find solutions for people-related challenges.
  • Language: Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Competencies:
    • HR Expertise: A modern understanding and passion for HR work, with a strong focus on eye-level collaboration.
    • Communication: Strong communication skills, assertiveness, resilience, and empathy, with a structured and analytical approach to work.
    • Travel and Intercultural Competence: A high willingness to travel within Europe and strong intercultural competence.
