Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PLM Project Manager to join our team. As a PLM Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading complex projects in the industrial machinery and heavy equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and implementation of customer requirements for the introduction or further development of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and MOM (Manufacturing Operations Management) systems.
  • Work closely with our customers, either independently or in collaboration with our Solution Architects and/or smaller project teams.
  • Coordinate, manage, and plan project team members, as well as handle commercial aspects of the project.
  • Ensure the implementation of solutions, taking into account the surrounding IT landscape and customer processes.
  • Support the support and product development teams in case of technical issues that arise in customer projects, working together to find solutions.
  • Monitor defined work packages in projects regarding expenditure and progress in the Sales / Financial Force System and provide the necessary reports to project and team leaders.
  • Continuously work on documenting and developing best practices and expanding our knowledge database.
  • Support sales and service colleagues in developing new sales opportunities within your projects.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in an engineering or business-related field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or business administration.
  • Excellent knowledge of business processes in the PLM/MOM field.
  • Highly experienced in consulting and concept development for PLM/MOM processes.
  • Ideally, you have experience in the machinery industry and/or the heavy equipment sector.
  • Strong customer orientation, enthusiasm, high persuasion skills, result orientation, decision-making ability, organizational skills, and quality orientation.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel.
  • Very good German and English language skills in writing and speaking.
