Expert IT Solution Architecture Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Expert IT Solution Architecture to join our team at Exyte Central Europe GmbH. As an Expert IT Solution Architecture, you will play a key role in leading and supporting enterprise architecture activities focused on the development and management of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure solutions, with a primary emphasis on Network services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to solution architecture initiatives, ensuring that Network services align with overarching business goals and objectives.
  • Create and design Network solutions, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, firewalls, VPNs, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), SD-WAN, cloud networking (e.g. based on Microsoft Azure), and load balancing.
  • Continuously analyze and design the target Network architecture landscape, considering business goals, strategies, and processes, as well as the business applications and technology landscape.
  • Develop a detailed roadmap for the evolution of the Network enterprise solution portfolio, aligning with solution architecture guidelines.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements, and translate them into strategic Network solutions that support business capabilities and value streams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven Experience as a Solution Architect or Network Architect, with a focus on designing and implementing complex, enterprise-grade network solutions & lifecycle management.
  • Good Knowledge of Network technologies, protocols, and architectures, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, firewalls, (e.g., Routing, Switching, Access Points, ExtremeCloud A3).
  • Good Knowledge of experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto) and SD-WAN solutions (e.g., CATO, VeloCloud).
  • Microsoft Azure certification or formal training and proven cloud network experience is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English and German language skills preferred.
