Hamburg Dresdner Maschinenfabriken GmbH is a leading manufacturer of innovative machines and plants for the industrial cocoa and chocolate production. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechatronics Engineer Trainee to join our team in Dresden.

About the Role

As a Mechatronics Engineer Trainee, you will be responsible for learning the most important tasks of a mechatronics engineer. This includes testing and measuring electronic circuits, setting up and operating electrotechnical machines and plants, and dealing with IT hardware and software. You will also have the opportunity to work on complex machines and plants, and to develop your skills in metal working, electrical engineering, measurement and control technology, quality management, and planning and control of work processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn the basics of metal working, electrical engineering, and measurement and control technology
  • Test and measure electronic circuits
  • Set up and operate electrotechnical machines and plants
  • Deal with IT hardware and software
  • Work on complex machines and plants
  • Develop skills in quality management and planning and control of work processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have good grades in mathematics and physics, technical know-how, and an affinity for IT or data processing, electrical engineering, and electronics. You will also need to have logical understanding and abstraction skills, as well as an interest in technology and craftsmanship.
