Job Title: Mechatronics Engineer/Service Technician

Hamburg Dresdner Maschinenfabriken GmbH, a leading manufacturer of innovative machines and plants for the cocoa and chocolate industry, is seeking a skilled Mechatronics Engineer/Service Technician to join our team in Dresden.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble complex mechanical and electrical components, as well as complete machines and plants, according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Perform functional and quality checks, and document the results.
  • Install and start-up machines and plants during service interventions, and conduct inspection, maintenance, and repair work at customer sites.
Requirements:
  • Completed training as a mechatronics engineer, industrial electrician, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in reading technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%) and good command of English language.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High degree of quality awareness, independence, and reliability.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach, with a systematic way of working.
  • Driving license (B) and ideally, license for fork-lift truck and crane.
