Job Summary

As a People Lead Expert Services at BASF Services Europe GmbH, you will be responsible for leading a global team of 15-20 members in the Agricultural Solutions Expert Services unit. Your primary goal will be to ensure the disciplinary leadership of your team, agreeing on goals, and assessing work performance through continuous feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a global team of 15-20 members in the Agricultural Solutions Expert Services unit.
  • Agree on goals and assess work performance through continuous feedback.
  • Promote the interest of your employees and support their personal and professional development.
  • Ensure excellent service delivery in your team by leveraging your enthusiasm for innovative topics, such as sustainability and digital agriculture, and your entrepreneurial understanding in Sales & Marketing.
  • Maintain close relationships with internal partners, such as Marketing, and other BASF units to ensure efficient stakeholder management and clear priorities in service delivery.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the department and support the steering of the department through regular reporting.

Requirements

  • Degree in the field of business or similar.
  • First relevant professional experience and first experience in managing remote or virtual teams, with experience in the agricultural sector being an advantage.
  • Know-how in optimizing internal processes and structures, as well as in projects for the continuous improvement of business processes.
  • Strong communication skills in English, with German being a plus.
  • High customer service orientation and an open, motivating way of leading employees.
