About the Role

Are you ready to take your Mergers and Acquisitions career to the next level? As an M&A Associate at Marktlink, you will be responsible for a significant part of the transaction process, working independently from day one. Your goal is to become an independent dealmaker within the next three years, leveraging your financial skills, commercial mindset, and genuine interest in entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities

As an M&A Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Business development and growth
  • Preparing valuations and bid books
  • Meeting potential buyers and sellers
  • Approaching new buyers and sellers
  • Expanding and maintaining the Marktlink network
  • Preparing financing applications and solving financing issues
  • Providing broad support to the partner and manager during projects
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Finance
  • 2-4 years of M&A advisory experience from a Corporate Finance/M&A Advisory in Germany
  • A social and entrepreneurial personality with practical and strategic insight, as well as tactical and commercial approach
  • Analytical strength, punctuality, and target-driven results
  • A genuine interest in SMEs and entrepreneurs
  • Excellent communication skills and an eye for personal relationships
  • Fluency in German is mandatory
