About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at Arenta Personaldienstleistungen GmbH. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality materials and components for our clients in the mechanical engineering industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement of Technical Components: Source and purchase technical components, including drawings and specifications, for our clients in the mechanical engineering industry.
  • Lieferant Selection and Qualification: Evaluate and select qualified suppliers to meet our clients' needs.
  • Quote Evaluation and Negotiation: Evaluate quotes from suppliers and negotiate prices and terms to ensure the best value for our clients.
  • Order Management and Logistics: Manage the ordering and logistics process to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all materials and components meet our clients' quality standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Technical Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Procurement Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the mechanical engineering industry.
  • Contract Management: Experience with contract management and negotiation.
  • ERP System Proficiency: Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
