Your Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the strategic purchasing of steel structures and materials for our international ground-mounted photovoltaic power plants.

Your Responsibilities

  • Comparing offers and negotiating contracts to secure the best possible deals.
  • Developing a common product group strategy to ensure consistency across our operations.
  • Searching, selecting, and developing suppliers to meet our needs.
  • Executing tenders, often via an eSourcing system, to identify the best suppliers.
  • Preparing bid comparisons to inform our procurement decisions.
  • Negotiating contracts in close collaboration with interface partners.
  • Cooperating closely with foreign companies within the BELECTRIC Group.
  • Representing our category management team in collaboration with colleagues from sub-construction, construction & installation, and civil engineering.

    Your Profile

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • A completed commercial or technical training, or studies in electrical engineering or industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
    • Several years of experience and profound expertise in strategic purchasing.
    • Experience in contract management.
    • Nice to have: Experience in project environments or project management.
    • Good knowledge of MS Office.
    • Very good knowledge of German and English.
    • Excellent communication, organizational, negotiation, and assertiveness skills.
