About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Manager to join our portfolio company in Berlin, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust supplier base, optimizing our supply chain, and driving business growth through strategic procurement initiatives.

As a Strategic Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the company's expansion into new markets and product categories
  • Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring best practices in onboarding, negotiation, and contracting
  • Purchase, contract, and deliver high-value deals, demonstrating exceptional professionalism, operational excellence, and analytical skills
  • Optimize supply chain processes to handle significant growth in purchase volume
  • Analyze market trends and present insights to inform our sales and purchasing strategy

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in business economics, supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a quantitative field
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in sales, purchasing, or supply chain-related functions
  • Fluency in German and English, with additional languages a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in RFQ evaluation, forecasting, planning, and risk management
