Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Engineer to join our team in Hamburg, Germany. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the marine industry. You will work closely with our project managers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers in the marine industry
  • Identify and resolve issues with automation and electrical systems on ships
  • Ensure that all electrical systems meet relevant industry standards and safety regulations
  • Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure project completion
  • Document activities, results, and recommendations in detailed reports
  • Develop and conduct training programs for project teams and end-users

Requirements

  • Completed education in an electrical engineering field or related field
  • Several years of experience in similar roles
  • Knowledge of automation and electrical systems on ships
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and safety regulations
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and language skills in German and English
  • High travel frequency (national and international)
