Senior Barista Opportunity

LAP Coffee - Micro Retail Technologies GmbH is seeking a skilled Senior Barista to join our team. As a Senior Barista, you will be responsible for mentoring junior staff, ensuring high-quality products, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including classics and special drinks.
  • Lead by example, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring all requests are handled with professionalism.
  • Shift leading, ensuring each team member has their place and tasks for the shift and maintaining an efficient workflow.
  • Be a brand ambassador, upholding the LAP brand to the highest standards.
  • Mentor junior barista staff, providing guidance on coffee preparation techniques, customer service best practices, and product knowledge.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including the espresso machine, grinder, brewing equipment, and service counter.
  • Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, and communicate any replenishment needs to management in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures, to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve any issues to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Solve any issues that might arise in the store, with the support of management if needed.

Requirements:

  • A strong customer service mentality.
  • Lead by example.
  • Friendly, open, and approachable.
  • Good organization and the ability to multitask.
  • Available to work on weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and busy environment.
  • Reliable, committed, and take initiative.
  • Full fluency in English is mandatory. German is a strong plus.
  • Specialty coffee experience is a big plus.
