VitrA Fliesen is part of the Eczacıbaşı Group, a well-established family-owned industrial conglomerate based in Istanbul, Turkey, with a significant presence in the construction, consumer goods, and healthcare sectors.
Founded in the 1940s, the company has not only secured a leading position in its home market of Turkey but has also made significant inroads into the international market for ceramic tiles and sanitary ware since launching the VitrA brand in 1966. Today, VitrA employs approximately a workforce dedicated to the success of its brand, with the German tile market playing a crucial role in its European operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the internal customer group across three European locations, ensuring effective management of selection and placement, performance evaluation, talent and career development, budget planning, training, and essential HR operations.
- Collaborate with department leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
- Implement tailored people strategies and solutions that support specific business goals.
- Design initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and fortifying the employer brand in the assigned locations.
- Lead the deployment of new and existing HR practices and systems throughout Europe.
- Ensure compliance with the group’s policies and practices across European operations.
- Provide legal guidance and insights from the European employee experience to inform the development of new HR procedures and policies aligned with the group’s strategy.
- Contribute to organizational performance by offering strategic consulting on people and organizational development initiatives.
- Plan, organize, and execute all HR activities related to talent acquisition, employee relations, and policy interpretation and application.
- University or master’s degree in relevant fields such as Economics, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or Psychology.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and talent development.
- A business-oriented HR professional with a strong commitment to managing all HR-related matters for their designated area.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and German.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- A dynamic and results-driven approach to HR management.
