About the Role

Rakuten Symphony Deutschland GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and organized HR Coordinator to support our business operations in Germany. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a critical role in facilitating HR processes, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate employee data.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Support: Provide first point of contact for managers and employees on HR-related matters, including time off, payroll, and benefits.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Onboard new hires, facilitate First Day Orientation, and ensure a smooth transition for departing employees.
  • Employee Data Management: Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS systems, including job changes, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring competitive and cost-effective benefits.
  • Payroll and Invoicing: Process payroll changes and manage HR invoices on the in-house accounting system.
  • Exit Experience: Conduct exit interviews, collate data, and build reports to improve employee retention and experience.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Build relationships across teams, provide regular and ad-hoc people reports, and ensure effective communication with employees and management.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 2 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Language Skills: English and German fluent language skills compulsory.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office and HR Information Systems (Workday experience a plus).
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional time management skills, excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, organized and detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and reassess needs in a fast-paced environment, customer service focused, and strong team-player mentality.
