Job Summary

Rakuten Symphony Deutschland GmbH is seeking a highly skilled HR Coordinator to support our team in Germany. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating Rakuten's HR processes and completing administrative tasks for all business locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees on HR-related matters, including time off, payroll, and benefits.
  • Onboard new hires and facilitate First Day Orientation with the local office manager.
  • Ensure employee data accuracy in Workday, including updates to job profiles, promotions, and compensation adjustments.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring the most competitive and cost-effective level of benefits.
  • Provide payroll specialist with any payroll changes for DE.
  • Review local policies in line with legislation changes and create process flows for employee/management understanding.
  • Work with immigration specialists on visa applications and relocations.
  • Process monthly and ad-hoc HR invoices on the in-house accounting system.
  • Manage the exit experience, including conducting exit interviews and collating data.
Requirements
  • Associates degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 2 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • HR Information Systems experience (Workday experience a plus).
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and reassess needs in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service-focused.
  • Strong team-player mentality.
  • English and German fluent language skills compulsory.
