Unlock New Business Opportunities as a Regional Account Manager

Location: Germany

As a Regional Account Manager at Fortinet, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth, onboarding new clients, and expanding existing customer relationships. Your daily focus will be on collaborating with our extensive channel-partner ecosystem to achieve greater market penetration. This exciting role will allow you to leverage your extensive network to identify and pursue new opportunities, work closely with your manager to track progress, and serve as the primary interface between customers and all relevant divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to close deals and achieve quarterly sales targets.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, qualifying opportunities, and accurately forecasting revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through continuous education and training.
  • Participate in customer and channel-partner events to foster relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Design and deliver webcasts on current cyber security topics to educate customers and prospects.

    Required Skills:

    • Proven track record of selling solutions to public sector accounts with a minimum of 3 years sales experience.
    • Excellent presentation skills to executives and individual contributors, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ambitious and independent thinker with the ability to move deals through the sales cycle.
    • Self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment and brings a hunter mentality.
    • Minimum 2 years selling network security products and services.

    Education:

    • BS or equivalent experience, graduate degree preferred.
