Logistics Operations Manager

The Logistics Operations Manager at Grapefrute is responsible for overseeing internal warehouse operations, ensuring seamless inbound and outbound processes. Working closely with Shift Leads and the Warehouse Manager, the role focuses on maintaining high service levels, team productivity, and safety standards while maximizing cost efficiency. In addition to day-to-day operations, the manager supports improvement and automation projects to enhance storage and distribution efficiency for retail and food solution customers.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth operations with timely preparation and loading of shipments
- Capacity planning and monitoring of technical equipment and safety measures
- Resolve service issues and provide support to factories, primary transport, and customer service
- Monitor stock aging and conduct audits for corrective actions
- Lead a team of approximately 45 employees
System, Automation, and Improvement Activities:
- Identify and implement cost and service improvement opportunities
- Support warehouse management system enhancements and improvement projects
- Collaborate on future projects related to warehouse operations
- Coordinate stocktake and financial reconciliation
Requirements:
- 3-6 years of logistics experience, preferably in FMCG or related industry
- Team management skills
- Proficiency in German and English
