Procurement Manager for Sustainable Assets

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Uniper, focusing on sustainable assets and wind energy.
The successful candidate will be responsible for close coordination with business unit managers to translate their requirements into concrete aspects of the procurement strategy, procurement planning, and supplier management.
Key responsibilities include actively managing suppliers strategically to create value for our business, developing and ensuring implementation of supplier engagement plans, identifying new suppliers relevant to business strategy, supplier-based innovation, and partnerships.
The Procurement Manager will also be responsible for strategic tendering, including specific tender strategies, supplier invitation and selection, negotiation, and implementation of supplier contracts.
As a Project Procurement Lead (PPL), the successful candidate will be the main contact person in Uniper projects for all procurement-related topics, close collaboration with other Procurement functions.
Driving specific initiatives together with the business units, leveraging external networks to develop new solutions for the Uniper business units.
The ideal candidate will have excellent education in engineering, business administration, economics, or comparable education, with several years of experience in procurement for onshore wind and managing procurement for major asset projects.
Strong analytical mindset, ability to deal convincingly with a wide range of contacts, and good communication skills are essential.
Fluent English is required, with knowledge of other languages, especially German, being an advantage.
