Procurement Manager Sustainable Assets

At Uniper, we are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager Sustainable Assets to join our team. As a key member of our Procurement team, you will be responsible for managing procurement strategies, planning, and supplier management for our renewable energy projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business requirements, including close coordination with business unit managers.
- Actively manage suppliers to create value for our business, including developing and ensuring implementation of supplier engagement plans.
- Specialize in the expansion of renewable energies, particularly solar and wind business.
- Lead strategic tendering, including specific tender strategies, supplier invitation and selection, negotiation, and implementation of supplier contracts.
- Act as Project Procurement Lead (PPL) for all procurement-related topics in Uniper projects, collaborating closely with other Procurement functions.
- Drive specific initiatives with business units, leveraging external networks to develop new solutions for Uniper business units.
Your Profile:
- Excellent education in engineering, business administration, economics, or comparable education or equivalent professional experience.
- Several years of experience in procurement and procurement management for large-scale turbine projects, particularly in the onshore wind sector.
- Ability to deal convincingly with a wide range of contacts and conflicting requirements or cross-functional overlaps with good analytical mindset.
- Good communication skills, project management skills, and ability to deal with stakeholders, including international work experience and understanding of cultural differences.
- Excellent communication skills in fluent English required, knowledge of other languages and especially German would be an advantage.
