Position Overview:
IT Network Engineer (m/f/d)Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Network Engineer at Bruker, you will be an integral part of our internationally operating in-house IT service team, providing essential IT services and support to our global internal users.
- Manage and maintain the campus and data center LAN/Wi-Fi environments.
- Ensure the reliable operation of the network infrastructure.
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of network systems.
- Coordinate with service providers and manage lifecycle projects.
- Advise colleagues and departments on network-related matters.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support.
- Document and maintain network diagrams and master data.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or relevant IT training.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in network operations.
- Proficient in managing network infrastructures.
- Experience with switch environments and controller-driven Wi-Fi, preferably Cisco and Meraki.
- Familiarity with NAC solutions, ideally Cisco ISE.
- Basic knowledge of network security principles.
- Foundational project management skills.
- Understanding of business economics.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%).
- Fluent in English and German.
- Flexible to work in a hybrid model from designated locations.
