We are currently seeking candidates for the position of
IT Network Engineer (m/f/d)Key Responsibilities:
As an IT Network Engineer at Bruker, you will be an integral part of our globally operating in-house IT service team, providing IT services and support to internal users worldwide.
- Manage and maintain the campus and data center LAN/Wi-Fi
- Ensure the stable operation of the network environment
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the network infrastructure
- Coordinate with service providers and manage lifecycle projects
- Advise colleagues and departments on network-related matters
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support
- Document and maintain master data and network diagrams
Your Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or relevant IT training
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in network operations
- Proficient in managing network infrastructures
- Experience in setting up and administering switch environments and controller-driven Wi-Fi, preferably with Cisco and Meraki (Advanced)
- Familiarity with operating a NAC solution, preferably Cisco ISE (Advanced)
- Basic knowledge of network security
- Basic project management skills
- Understanding of business economics
- Ability to provide and receive constructive feedback
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Structured and independent working style
- Team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel to other locations (domestic and international < 25%)
- Fluent in English and German
- Ability to work in a hybrid model from one of our locations
