We are seeking a highly skilled Group Packaging Expert Flexible to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a key member of our Group Packaging Competence Team, you will be responsible for developing innovative, sustainable packaging solutions that meet the needs of our global business.
Main Responsibilities:- Lead the development of our international flexible packaging strategy, focusing on sustainability, resource conservation, and efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities for improvement in our packaging portfolio, driving standardization, harmonization, and simplification.
- Manage and execute flexible packaging projects, defining measures to achieve targets and ensuring total cost of ownership.
- Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce packaging material weight and waste, while maintaining packaging integrity.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement new packaging solutions, leveraging expertise in packaging technology and process knowledge.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of packaging processes, materials, and technologies, staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
- Provide expert guidance and support to colleagues, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Fluent business English is mandatory, and German is an advantage.
- Domestic and international travel up to 50% of the time is possible.
