Desktop Support Specialist

Axiom Technologies is a leading IT services partner that supports medium to large-scale enterprises. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients.

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to end-users within our organization's desktop computing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite and on-call assistance to end-users
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues
  • Fix issues without impacting hardware warranty or customer security compliance requirements
  • Excellent customer management skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on time
  • Hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Installation and troubleshooting of hardware issues for laptops, desktops, printers, and accessories
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN, WAN, server setups, and concepts
  • Ability to perform smart and physical assistance activities under instruction
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Conference room A/V equipment assistance and troubleshooting
  • Basic VOIP phone configuration and troubleshooting
  • Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware

Requirements:

  • At least two years of experience in a similar role
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office applications, and laptop hardware
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and Apple OS
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment
