Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at ITT Inc. as a System Design Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop project and tender documents for pump systems and auxiliary units as a turnkey process solution.
- Design and construct automated pump systems, including layout planning, pipeline planning, valve selection, pressure design, instrumentation, explosion protection, structural planning, and hydraulic auxiliary systems.
- Perform calculations for system component dimensioning and design, adhering to ASME and AD2000 standards.
- Collaborate closely with the project team, including the project manager, electrical engineer, and project buyer.
- Analyze and evaluate customer specifications to support offers and project execution.
- Examine mechanical/hydraulic supply documents and components in relation to the defined service description.
- Plan and support system function tests and provide technical support to the commissioning team.
Requirements
- Completed studies as a mechanical engineer or equivalent.
- Several years of professional experience in system design and planning.
- Ability to assume responsibility for work packages in engineering.
- Willingness to engage with customers.
- Basic knowledge of process engineering systems desirable.
- Proficiency in English language (spoken and written).
- Good computer skills, including user software (Autocad Inventor, Office package, Visio or similar).
- Flexible, goal-oriented working methods in project teams.
- Ability to travel occasionally for project meetings, sales, and commissioning support.
