We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at ITT Bornemann GmbH. As a Mechanical Engineer - Pump Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing pump systems and its auxiliary units as a turnkey process solution.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Create project and tender documents for pump systems and its auxiliary units, including layout planning, pipeline planning, valve selection, pressure design, instrumentation, explosion protection, structural planning, and hydraulic auxiliary systems.
- System Component Design: Perform calculations for the dimensioning and design of system components, including ASME and AD2000 standards.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the project team, including the project manager, electrical engineer, and project buyer, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Customer Support: Analyze and evaluate customer specifications to support offers and project execution, and examine mechanical/hydraulic supply documents in relation to the previously defined service description.
- Testing and Commissioning: Plan and support system function tests and provide technical support to the commissioning team.
- Education: Completed studies as a mechanical engineer or comparable.
- Experience: Several years of professional experience in the areas of responsibility described above.
- Responsibility: Assume responsibility for work packages in the engineering of the products described.
- Communication: Willingness to have customer contact and communicate effectively in English.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of process engineering systems desirable, and good computer skills, including user software (Autocad Inventor, Office package, Visio or similar).
- Teamwork: Ability to work in a team across departments and flexible, goal- and cost-oriented working methods in project teams.
- Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally as part of project meetings, sales, and commissioning support, worldwide.
